As your representative, I will focus on getting our basic city services back to where they need to be. Our roads are in horrible shape, our snow plan is outdated and needs fixing-throwing more equipment and money is not the 100% fix!!, addressing traffic issues. Our city continues to look dirty and run-down in different areas, and it is time for accountability. I will also prioritize public safety improvements and work to stop wasteful spending. Additionally, I believe it is essential to retain good employees with competitive pay to ensure that our city government is effective and efficient.

Emergency Preparedness, The response to the snow and Ice events recently was horrible, we can AND must reevaluate the snow plan and continue to reevaluate it. Our severe weather sirens go off after the storm is gone leading to dangerous or even potentially deadly consequences. I believe that resilient infrastructure is crucial, and that we must do better to prepare for and respond to emergencies. Fiscal Responsibility, and Urban Planning and Smart Growth affordable housing and homeless and homelessness issues. When it comes to Fiscal Responsibility, I advocate for promoting efficiency and accountability in government spending, and getting back to basic city services. Finally, on Urban Planning and Smart Growth, I seek to balance development with neighborhood preservation, recognizing that there has to be a balance between growth and preservation. I am also committed to supporting small businesses.

What motivated you to run for office? As a lifelong resident of Lexington and with a decade of experience in city government, I am motivated to bring about positive change and ensure that our city provides basic services efficiently while protecting the service boundary with neighborhood preservation. We need to ensure that new developments are consistent with the character of our neighborhoods and don't compromise our city's unique charm.

How do you plan to address the issue of urban planning and smart growth? I believe that there must be a balance between development and neighborhood preservation. We need to promote smart growth that benefits both the community and the city as a whole, while ensuring that our infrastructure is resilient and can support future development.
